The Ferntree Business Park is a redevelopment proposal for an office estate located to the east of the Melbourne CBD. The plan is to develop two new office buildings, a child care centre and multi-storey carparks each connected by a series of outdoor spaces. These are designed to integrate into the Business Park’s layout and be developed in stages based on
the turnover of individual tenant leases.

As a point of difference to similar developments in the area, the design of the office buildings is set on a retail base to provide amenities to those in the office park. The office building above will feature sound environmentally sustainable design principles to conserve energy while providing optimum comfort. The design of the entry façade incorporates these principles while setting a new quality standard for the remainder of the estate.
