The new Administration building at Holy Spirit Catholic College is a replacement building for an existing aged building. The current Administration is a barrier to the community and separates the school from the street and its community. While taking the opportunity to rebuild, the College is re-looking at its vision for the public interface at their school and want the new building to be a showpiece for welcome, identity and support for the wellbeing of staff, students and the community.
Linking into existing buildings at a myriad of different floor levels, this new building will create connections between old and new and bring together some of the uses across the site to create a centralised wellbeing hub. This important indoor and outdoor hub will bring the community together in the centre of the campus while the new public face of the Administration will become a focal point for the community to be welcomed on site. Dani Martin is currently the Project Architect for this project in the briefing, stakeholder engagement and concept design stages.
