Urbis’ new Perth location takes advantage of an unusual floor plate design to deliver an office taking advantage of sweeping views of the iconic Swan River, whilst delivering a functional, light-filled and equitable workspace.
Blackbutt flooring in the reception was cut and laid at angles to resemble the sweeps and bends of the river outside, culminating in a ‘billabong’ at the reception desk and flowing up to the ceiling.
Urbis commissioned indigenous artist J.D. Penangke to create topographical artworks of WA landscapes for the reception and meeting areas.
