Gray Puksand has appointed Lauren Oneile and Quentin Seik as Partners, reinforcing our national leadership team. Forming part of a broader round of internal appointments, an additional eleven team members will step into new roles across our four national studios.

“Fostering existing talent remains a priority for Gray Puksand, forming a key part of the practice’s strategic focus on growth, succession and talent development.

“Appointing Lauren and Quentin as Partners speaks to the exceptional talent emerging from within our studios. Their work reflects a high level of design and technical expertise, alongside a deep understanding of our purpose and the impact we strive to create through the built environment,” said National Managing Partner, Nik Tabain.

Lauren Oneile has been a key contributor to Gray Puksand’s Sydney studio since joining in 2021. With over two decades of experience in interior design, she brings a deep understanding of how space influences culture, performance and wellbeing.

Her recent achievements include delivering future-focused workplace environments for Perpetual, Transgrid, SMEC, Abacus, Allianz and AW Edwards. Known for her collaborative leadership and people-first approach, Lauren continues to shape spaces that respond to evolving ways of working and foster meaningful connections.

“As Partner, I’ll continue to lead within our interiors team across workplace and commercial sectors, while supporting the continued growth of our Sydney studio.

“Gray Puksand’s culture of collective intelligence, people-first thinking and design excellence has shaped how I lead and collaborate. These values continue to guide my commitment to creating work that delivers meaningful impact for clients and supports the development of our team,” said Lauren.

Quentin Seik, based in the Melbourne studio, has over 20 years of experience in health, aged care and senior living projects across Australia, the UK and internationally. Since joining Gray Puksand, he has led complex, technically demanding projects including upgrades at Royal Melbourne and Royal Women’s Hospitals.

With a design ethos grounded in empathy and technical rigour, Quentin delivers environments that support integrated models of care, enhance patient journeys and improve health outcomes.

“This promotion is an opportunity to build on what has been a deeply rewarding chapter of my career at Gray Puksand.

“The opportunity to take on greater responsibility allows me to lead with purpose and push design boundaries, creating healthcare environments that support wellbeing beyond clinical function. It also enables me to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration that drives innovative, patient-centred solutions and strengthens the design culture across the practice,” he said.

The broader eleven promotions span all four studios, elevating emerging leaders who have contributed to Gray Puksand’s reputation for world-class design and innovation across healthcare, education and commercial sectors.

As part of our commitment to investing in the growth of our people, we recently launched the Gray Puksand Leadership Program, a six-month, biennial initiative designed to prepare Senior Associates for advanced leadership roles. Participants engage with industry coaches to build capability across the core pillars of design leadership, people, business development and commercial acumen.

Alongside this, the annual Graduate Program provides our early-career designers with structured experience, mentorship and professional development across our national studios. Together, both programs reflect a holistic approach to staff development and a commitment to supporting team members at every stage of their careers.

“When leadership is developed from within, it carries forward the values, knowledge and relationships that define the way we work.

“That continuity not only strengthens our design outcomes but also reinforces our capacity to deliver environments that improve how people work, learn and live as our national pipeline continues to grow,” concluded Nik.
