Evolving in the ACT: Gray Puksand Canberra’s New Home

We are delighted to share that our Canberra studio has officially found a permanent home, marking an exciting new chapter for our team and the community. Since opening our Canberra studio, it has been rooted in a vision to become a dynamic hub for creativity, innovation, and local connection. Our journey has seen us partner with local talent, support community initiatives, and engage in projects that reflect the vibrant energy of Australia’s capital.

Our story in Canberra started at the Hub Civic Centre, where we found a welcoming and inspiring environment to build our presence. During this time we have steadily expanded our presence and impact across the ACT, culminating in the opening of our dedicated studio in November 2025.

Over the past three years, our contributions have included shaping the transformative Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) campus in Woden, a 22,500sqm state-of-the-art vocational training facility supporting up to 6,500 students, which forms the core of a broader urban renewal effort integrating a major public transport interchange and a dedicated youth foyer to empower at-risk young people with secure accommodation and wraparound support.

Our work in the ACT also extends to revitalising 121 Marcus Clarke Street in central Canberra, where we enhanced the lobby, business lounge, and café to create flexible, inviting spaces for tenants and visitors alike. For the Delegation of the European Union in Deakin, we delivered a secure, sustainable, and contemporary workspace that prioritises wellbeing through biophilic design and energy efficiency.

Additionally, our commitment to education and inclusivity is exemplified by Throsby Primary School, a modern, nature-connected campus for 650 students that fosters creativity and community engagement. These achievements underscore our deep commitment to innovation, social equity, and the creative growth of Canberra as we settle into our new studio and look forward to shaping even more transformative projects in the region.

As we settle into our new surroundings, we are filled with gratitude and anticipation for the journey ahead. This milestone opens the door to new beginnings, meaningful collaborations, and continued growth alongside Canberra’s thriving creative community. To our dedicated Canberra team and all who have supported us so far, thank you and we look forward to making even more memories and impact together in our new permanent home.
