A development site on a large open plain in Werribee is reimagined as a vibrant mixed-use precinct.

An XRISO Property Trust development site on a large open plain in Werribee has been reimagined as a vibrant mixed-use precinct by Gray Puksand.

Werribee Gateway will be delivered across several staged precincts including retail and commercial, childcare, a gym and an alfresco dining offering.

The dominance of horizontal building forms with expressive vertical elements creates a clear architectural language that speaks to the various uses of the building.

A balance between built form and open space is achieved with a strong pedestrian connection between Precincts 1 and 2 opening to an expansive plaza.

A selective colour palette offers each retail tenant the opportunity to express their brand boldly while maintaining a cohesive design aesthetic.

Backed by the Geelong to Melbourne corridor via Princes Freeway, the Werribee exit lane hugs the eastern boundary ensuring a prominent line of sight to the North facing retail frontage. These sight lines are maximised to their full potential in the design with strategically placed signage opportunities offering enviable exposure to passing traffic.
